Only the best quality aged Carpathian woods are used. Spruce and Curly Maple harvested over 50 years ago from the Valley of the Italians in the Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania where local stories state that many Italian luthiers, including célèbre luthier maestro Antonio Stradivari himself, were searching for the right and select tone woods to harvest for their workshops.

Cremona model hand made by maestro luthier Alexandru Ozon, antique 4/4 double bass and original Bass Orchestra 42 Medium Rope Core Super Flexible Thomastik strings with high quality metal pegs/tunes professional installed and set it up by this great Romanian master luthier.
• Oiled neck for better feel and well-balanced bow for ease of playing, ebony tail and fingerboard.
• Correct string height and string spacing for accurate finger positioning and intonation. The instrument features quality workmanship for better sound and has been upgraded to include a beautiful vintage warm fulvous on golden primer finish which lets the grain show through. It is crafted to be just as pleasing to the eye as it is to the ear. The sound is deep, dynamic, rich, with a velvety tone full of seduction and elegance. Majestic sound, sublime beauty. Excellent choice for a Maestro or Soloist Bassist.
